CCPA Compliance

DexSale is committed to respecting your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how these laws apply to our informational website and how you can exercise your rights.

Scope and Applicability

The CCPA/CPRA applies to California residents. While DexSale does not require registration or collect personal information through accounts, we may automatically collect certain data via cookies, web analytics, and server logs when you visit our site. This includes IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and usage patterns. We do not sell or share your personal information for monetary or valuable consideration.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of any potential sale or sharing of your personal information. While we do not currently sell or share data for targeted advertising, you may still submit an opt-out request.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised your CCPA/CPRA rights.

How We Comply

DexSale does not maintain a user database, store personally identifiable information from visitors, or require sign-ups. Our data collection is limited to anonymous analytics and technical logs necessary for site functionality and security. We do not engage in data selling or targeted advertising based on user profiles.

Data We Process

Under CCPA/CPRA, the following may be considered personal information collected automatically:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device type
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

This data is used solely for site performance, security monitoring, and improving user experience. It is not linked to individual identities.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of limited data is based on legitimate interest in maintaining website functionality, ensuring security, and providing accurate market insights. We do not rely on consent for this limited processing, as it is necessary for our service delivery under CCPA/CPRA exemptions.
